RFID explained
What exactly is RFID?
RFID is a wireless communication technology, similar to how contactless payment works. Just like a credit card’s hidden tag communicates with a terminal, Cody Block uses RFID to connect the toy with the blocks, enabling seamless, invisible interaction.
Cody and RFID
Each City Block contains a passive RFID tag, holding specific commands like “turn left” or “stop.” Cody reads these commands using an antenna, making each interaction a real-time coding experience. This allows kids to witness the outcome of their coding-like sequences without visible buttons or electronics - just traditional wooden blocks.
